Fresh and minimalist.
Such was the client’s request (ACCOR and Orbis Hotels), one of the world’s largest hotel networks, currently with over 1150 three-star hotels. The new design will be applied in all new hotels in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
The hotel rooms, about 12 m2 in size, were primarily tuned to light beige and very light grey tones.
STANDARD ROOM
Typizovaný pokoj je jednoduše a funkčně zařízený tak, aby odpovídal standardům tříhvězdičkového hotelu Ibis. Koupelnový box včetně posuvných dveří je obložený designovými panely v měděné barvě, atmosféru dotváří efektní podsvícení. Neutrální šedé a béžové tóny doplňuje trendy strong blue barva.
STORAGE SPACE
The colour “strong blue”, used on a chair or stylish metal frames with mesh filling, replacing the wardrobes in a playful way, refreshes the space. We hung the mini bar on the wall to make it look like furniture and hid the safe in the extended bedside table console.
SLEEPING PLACE
The ambiently illuminated sleeping area is dominated by a blue blackout curtain, a spacious bed and a massive shelf under the TV.
DETAILS
However, the most striking feature of the interior is a composite design panel in a copper shade with a shiny effect. It found a use as a cladding of the bathroom area. Its ambient backlight evokes a relaxing atmosphere in the room and the panel is unique thanks to its featured anchoring elements.
HOTEL CORRIDORS
The hotel corridors shine with a contrasting combination of dark grey and yellow, which attracts attention and helps guests to find their way. We also used the colour for glued wall graphics outlining Prague’s monuments and stating the time, in which you can walk there from the hotel. White entrance doors have been complemented with room numbers, which create an impressive shade play on the wall thanks to artificial lighting.
